About Miranda Ann
My work is inspired by the hidden beauty within landscapes and how they can be transformed into surreal, perplexing worlds through the artists imagination. I love experimenting with rich, luminous colours and new acrylic mediums to create a dreamlike quality in my paintings. I am influenced by the expressionist, impressionist, surrealist and naive art movements, with elements of each period being weaved into my work.
